Located in the heart of Mercer, Tennessee, Rolling P Retrievers specializes in building behavioral foundations and lifelong bonds between you and your pup. I provide training solutions tailored to your specific needs, ensuring that you and your canine companion are successful in your training journey. We provide lifetime support to our clients and are always happy to help navigate the challenges of puppyhood. 

We are breeders of both AKC Labrador Retrievers and AKC Golden Retrievers. The basis of our breeding program is to raise happy, healthy, intelligent pups who possess a world class temperament. Many of our pups go on to not only be the best family members, but many will go above and beyond to become service dogs in some capacity.

It is our honor and privilege to support K-9s for Warriors, K-9s for Warriors Abroad, and U.S. Veterans Service Dogs. Our own service dog training program in now available to those who may be interested. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

What kind of dogs do you work with?

We are happy to offer training assessments for any breed. Each pup in our training program is selected after carefully evaluating age, temperament, and health. 

How long will it take to have my dog fully trained?

Training dogs is like teaching children. Each one is an individual and will learn at their own pace. Once we find what steps work, we can see some real progress. Our basic obedience board and train is available in 4 to 8 weeks sessions. This is by design. At some point your pup must spend time at home following the same protocol he/she followed with us. 

What training techniques do you use?

Our training program emphasizes positive, encouraging, and confidence building techniques. We really want to set these pups up for success. When undesirable behaviours are an issue we extinguish them promptly and redirect.
